Micros Tax Rate Program Procedures

Tax Change for Micros 474

1.      Turn the Program key to the “P” position on the keylock.

2.      Depress the # key and the word Program should appear in the display.

3.      Enter 05 and the word Setup should appear in the display.

4.      Enter the 0 key twice, the display should show 00 SETUP 08.

5.      Enter the first two digits on the new tax rate (the first digit being zero – ex. 09)

6.       The display will automatically increment to the next address.

7.      Enter the next two digits of the new tax rate (ex. 75).

8.      The display will automatically increment to the next address.

9.      If your tax rate requires further entry enter the next two digits of the new tax rate now.

10.  Depress the Clear key and return the Program key to the operate position.

(The tax rate must be entered into each register)

 

Model 1700

Tax Change for Micros 1700

1.      Turn the key to the right (3 o’clock position)

2.      Depress the Enter key and the display should show the word Program.

3.      Enter 05 and the word Setup should appear in the display.

4.      Enter the 0 key twice, the display should show 00 SETUP 08.

5.      Enter the first two digits on the new tax rate (the first digit being zero – ex. 09)

6.      The display will automatically increment to the next address.

7.      Enter the next two digits of the new tax rate (ex. 75).

8.      The display will automatically increment to the next address.

9.      If your tax rate requires further entry enter the next two digits of the new tax rate now.

10.  Depress the Clear key and return the Program key to the operate position.

2400

Tax Change for Micros 2400

  1. Turn the key to the right (3 o’clock position)
  2. Depress and hold the Shift key down while at the same time Depress the Enter key. (You should see two options at the top of the display)
  3. Depress 2 - System Configurator (you should see several options at the top of the display)
  4. Depress 1 - System (you should see several options at the top of the display)
  5. Depress 1 – System (you should see several options at the top of the display)
  6. Depress 1 – Overhead (you should see several options at the top of the display)
  7. Depress 1 – Edit (you should see several options at the top of the display)
  8. Depress 4 – Tax (you should see several options at the top of the display)
  9. Depress 2 – Tax Table (you should see the present tax rate on this screen)
  10. Enter the new tax rate (There are four tax tables available on the Micros 2400 and you may not be using any other – if however you need to change another tax rate you can access it by depressing the page down key until you are at the correct tax table. Make the required changes to this tax table.)
  11. Depress the Save Exit key on the touchscreen (or hold the shift key while depressing the double zero key) to save the changes made in the tax rate.
  12. Depress the Clear key until you return to the normal operating screen.

 

 

Model 2700

Tax Change for Micros 2700

  1. Turn the key to the right (3 o’clock position)
  2. Depress and hold the Shift key down while at the same time Depress the Enter key. (You should see two options at the top of the display)
  3. Depress 2 - System Configurator (you should see several options at the top of the display)
  4. Depress 1 - System (you should see several options at the top of the display)
  5. Depress 1 – System (you should see several options at the top of the display)
  6. Depress 1 – Overhead (you should see several options at the top of the display)
  7. Depress 3 – Tax (you should see several options at the top of the display)
  8. Depress 2 – Tax Table (you should see the present tax rate on this screen)
  9. Enter the new tax rate (There are four tax tables available on the Micros 2700 and you may not be using any other – if however you need to change another tax rate you can access it by depressing the page down key until you are at the correct tax table. Make the required changes to this tax table.)
  10. Depress the Save Exit key on the touchscreen (or hold the shift key while depressing the double zero key) to save the changes made in the tax rate.
  11. Depress the Clear key until you return to the normal operating screen.

 

 

Model 3700 - modified 7/12/02   3:24pm

  1. SIGN ON TO POS CONFIGURATOR.
  2. YOU SHOULD BE INSIDE OF THE SALES TAB.
  3. TO THE FAR RIGHT THERE IS A BUTTON CALLED TAX RATES, LEFT CLICK ON THAT.
  4. LEFT CLICK THE EACH TAX RATE AND FOLLOW STEPS 5-7.
  5. UNDER THE “GENERAL” TAB YOU WILL SEE A BOX CALLED “PERCENTAGE”, LEFT CLICK INSIDE THAT BOX.
  6. TYPE IN THE APPROPRIATE TAX RATE.
  7. SAVE THAT BY LEFT CLICKING ON THE GREEN CHECK LOCATED TOWARDS THE TOP OF SCREEN.
  8. CLOSE POS CONFIGURATOR.
  9. OPEN MICROS CONTROL PANEL.
  10. LEFT CLICK ON RESTAURANT.
  11. LEFT CLICK ON "OFF" AND LEFT CLICK OK ON THE FOLLOWING QUESTION.
  12. WAIT UNTIL YOU HAVE ALL RED X’S.
  13. THEN LEFT CLICK ON FRONT OF HOUSE AND LEFT CLICK OK ON THE FOLLOWING QUESTION.
  14. ONCE YOU HAVE ALL GREEN CHECKS YOU ARE DONE!
